Hugo Temperly

I am delighted to perform the role of “International Representative” this year. I graduated from Trinity College Dublin School of Medicine in 2020 and I am interested in general surgery and surgical oncology. During my intern year at St. James’s Hospital Dublin, I became enthusiastic about surgical research and the benefits it has for patients. I moved to Australia in 2021 and I am currently working as the Upper GI SHO at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Perth. As international rep, I plan to strengthen the link between Australian and Irish research collaboratives, in order to produce meaningful and effective research.
