Christina Fleming

I am a final year General and Colorectal Surgery SpR and I have previously completed a PhD. I am current Chair and past Secretary of the ISRC. I was project lead for ISRC’s first project, a National study of perioperative fluid management in elective colectomy (PERFECT). As Chair I aim to grow the collaborative both in number and in ability to deliver high quality multicenter research with real patient impact while also promoting mentoring and leadership development opportunities within the committee. I look forward to continued work with the Irish Forum for Surgical Research to develop surgical research training and a robust network of research opportunities for surgical trainees throughout Ireland.
