
Having graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2015 I moved to Northern Ireland to do foundation year training before commencing surgical training in Ireland. I am currently working as a General Surgery SpR. I obtained a MCh in Surgery from UCC in 2019 and was awarded a scholarship to do a Healthcare Leadership Masters in 2020. I am embarking on a full-time laboratory-based MD in July 2021. My previous publications are centred around breast cancer surgery, prognostic biomarkers, and translational research. I joined the ISRC to enhance collaboration and translational research amongst surgical trainees to improve patient outcomes and propel Irish research to the forefront of surgical academia
