Sylvestor O’Halloran Perioperative

The annual Sylvester O’Halloran Perioperative Symposium, named in his honour, was started in 1992 by the late Mr Peter Delaney.  The symposium will be conducted over three days on a inperson (masterclasses only) and virtual platform, and since its development it has evolved to comprise general, vascular, colorectal, breast/endocrine, orthopaedic, ENT, plastic surgery sessions. There are several paper prizes, poster prizes and named lectures including the Sylvester O’Halloran Lecture, Sir Thomas Myles lecture and the Paul O’Byrne lecture.
The next meeting will take place from the 3^rd-5^th March 2022.
